Using div tags to keep images together.

I'm having a problem with some of the pictures on my dads site. The site is kind of graphic intensive. I want to focus using div tags on the image of my dad and the header picture (if this is at all possible). Also, when I have the image of my dad in the div tag, would it be wiser to make the image a background image?

Thanks

I'm curious why you made two images for your dad. I would simply create one image and then there won't be a gap.

You can certainly place images inside of divs though you don't really need to place each inside its own div. You can also have the images be background images on the divs, but I don't see any reason to here. Maybe the header image as a background image if you want the text in the header to be text and not part of the image.
