I used a program called trllian web page to make some pages for my site and when I do a search for my site some of these pages are indexed as follows,

never heard that trillain gace web pge maker is it the same ppl who did the trillan chat software? (where u can login to all ur IM accoutns at the same time.. msn.yahoo etc etc)

I use Trillian for chat.. I wasn't aware of any page builder either.

its good, the chat, im just too lazy to use it so i usually end up just using msn XD which reminds me i have to reinstall trillian..

what is strange is that that strange looking first character ˙ţ< ! DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC " - / / W 3 C / / DTD HTML 4 . 0 ... is not found when I go into the pages to edit them. The character is only seen on the index results pages. Trellian has web page pro and internet studio programs for web page building.

Nope you won't find it a text editor.

It's a unicode character added for whatever reason by your page editor

I am guessing this is a similar problem to what I was having with my site...

My site is in PHP, I was creating pages in expression web and when I would view the page in IE I would see weird characters all over the page... all I had to do was copy/paste the code from EW (expression web) and put it in notepad and save it as whateverpagenameis.html and then up it to the server, it got rid of the problem.

For whatever reason these dumbass programs insert weird characters when you save the file, kind of as a stamp of "this was made with our program", **** you microsoft... oh I shuld mention it was leaving weird characters even just on my ALL html pages! Try my method out and see if the problem persists, hopefully you kow how to FTP to your site?
