What is it with <Object> tags that about a month ago it stopped liking me putting them in pages? What browsers no longer support it? Why is that the only English pop-up in my German version???

(Okay don't bother with that last one)

Are you SURE that's what it's saying ??? As far as I know, ALL the browsers support it. DW does now put in a prompt against using the <EMBED> tag though.

What LNR said...there's no good reason for even Dr*amw*av*r not to like it. Maybe it's a case of "something else doesn't validate and the object tag is the symptom".

Where's the code, and what happens when you validate it?

It's a pop-up that happened when I copied my template OBJECT tag from a notepad file to use for a flash file. Went something like this:

ACHTUNG:

Some browsers may not support <Object> tag's would you like Dreamweaver to fix them?

Well I guess that's true. Some browsers may not support the paragraph tag, too. Can't tell you which ones, and I"d guess none, but that's such an open statement it can't be disproven.

Oddly, I can't get it to repeat that error as of today. Even more odd, I can't even get it to spew English any more XD. Ahh, piece of mind at last.

I didn't think it was a huge problem I just wanted to share this bit of random spewage.
