Hi,

this seems the most relevant place to post this (I think!)....

My short story site has been running for a month now, and is getting a fair few visitors and contributors. I'm wondering if there's anyone here who might have some tips on increasing the traffic even more (more readers specifically)?

Any help is greatly appreciated.. I want to get my writers sumbissions read by as many people as I can!!

If you have some $ to spend, you could use Adwords. You'll probably get the best traffic (quality, not quantity) from their program.

That's my main trouble.. I don't have any spare cash to pay for advertising

try looking for online forums/communities that are related to writing, invite them to visit and contribute.

Why don't you scan through the YahooGroups forums? There must be a dozen or so groups there that are composed of writers.

You might even want to go a step further and scan through the Groups on a "by topic" basis so you can have an assortment of short stories across several different topics. Just an idea.
