Hello,
We are a small technology company that has created a web based customer support software application - more specifically, a FAQ Management application.
This post is not meant to plug our products, I am looking for some serious advice on marketing them.
We've launched our eCommerce website and we began the SEO and link building. Our SEO is proving successful as I've reached google/yahoo/msn top 10 results in a matter of a month (for a few different keyword phrases). I've done this with a combination of directory linking, social bookmarking / social marketing, on-site SEO, and a few very strategic backlinks. So, SEO is not a problem for me.
We are planning on implementing additional online marketing in the coming weeks, including search engine PPC (adwords, overture, etc.), seeking partnerships, banner advertising in targeted communities.
I'm wondering if anyone could help out with some additional ideas of getting traffic and making sales, aside from the 'typical' avenues.
- Have you successfully sold software online? What tips would you suggest?
- Who are the online re-sellers that we should sign up with?
- What are the best affiliate networks for selling our specific type of software?
- Does anyone have experience with Softonic.com, Download.com, or any of the similar sites? Are these worth joining?
We really do have an awesome product that can help any website owner reduce technical and customer support costs. I am willing to give up to 50+% commission, as long as sales are being made.
If there are any professionals that may be interested in helping to sell this product, we have positions open, please let me know.
If you need to check out our website and software product, http://www.universalfaqmanager.com
Thanks so much for your help.
