Do you use contest to drive more traffic to increase your overall revenue for a particular? What kind of contests do you hold?

Yes I do. Mainly offering them some extra feature or some gold package and also Site gear. Will try some with money soon.

Anyone know any good contest portals by the way where I can post my contests?

why not, its a good way to get traffic. and most of the members who are serious are staying at the end.

i tried it with differnt sites of mine.

Probably the only easy way to get your forum populated is contests (which is only what I use contest for). Paid posts never really work out. Contests are the real key.

How well would you say that this contest is working for EF at the moment?

Well the key will be how many residual posters will there be after the contest is over, I'm sure it's providing a burst of initial activity though
