I have an interesting situation. I run GamersRadio.com. The site content is mainly music and gaming. I have the #1 spot for the Keyword Gamers Radio and get some traffic from the search engines.

Here is the kicker. While I average 200 uniques a day on my site, my station which is hosted at Live365 averages 1600-2000 unique listeners a day. Additionally, my station landing page at Live365 averages 600-800 uniques a day. I need to figure out a way to get those eyes on my website.

Here are the details.

I get a 20 second spot before commercials run. I have professional voice overs telling the listeners to visit my site. I think it's too generic and I want to come up with something more enticing.

I can also frame content on my landing page, but it is below the fold. The station launch button is up high on the left, so I imagine most visitors don't even see that content. At one point, I made a special theme with only my Music Related news to show on that page. It was not very successful and really just misrepresented my main site unique stats.

Also, I can not launch the station from my site without incurring large licensing fee's. That is why I have the Live365 launch page.

That is what I have to work with. A landing page that may or may not be seen and up to 5 rotating 20 second spots to push users to my site. I have a few ideas running through my head, but I'd like to see if anyone here has any ideas on how I can take advantage of this audience.

For the record, I plan on moving the current site from PostNuke to Joomla. Along with the move, I plan on adding more SEO friendly navigation as well as Music Video's from the artist we play. For now, I'd like to focus on what I can do to get the users from the station to the site.

Details:
1600-2000 Unique Listeners A Day.
600-800 Unique Visitors to my Station Landing Page on Live365.
The difference between the first two is users who launch my station directly from a favorites link on their Live365 player or from my station listing in the station directory.
200 Uniques a day to GamersRadio.com.

Main Site: http://www.GamersRadio.com
Landing Page: http://www.live365.com/stations/gamersradiodotcom
Main Directory Listing: http://www.live365.com/cgi-bin/direc...gi?genre=metal

Thoughts? Ideas?

Use your 20 second spot to tell users about a contest they can enter by visiting your site. The contest angle seems to be working well to get people to this forum!
