I am trying to promote a teen related website [http://proxiesrus.com] which contains a proxy, an arcade and text messaging system. Where should I go about promoting this website? I am looking to increase the daily uniques by about 300 - 500 unique visitors a day.

My budget is in the high xx - low xxx range. Is this doable? Even free resources might be helpful.

Try MySpace. Couldn't get a more teen-ish website!

How benefital is a myspace bulletin though? I thought about it. Isn't it a message that goes around to 1,000 kids and they may/may not click it, depending wether they feel what I'm sending is spam or not?

Anyone else find myspace bulletins useful?

You might want to change the link to a working one, yours is currently messed due to an extra "]" at the end.

And i think that you can find some quite good bargains on BlogAds. I also think building MySpace profiles up to thousands of friends and then sending bulletins is a good idea, especially for a site of this kind =). You might want to try Adder Robot ($17) for adding hundreds of friends daily and sending them bulletins.

Thanks Allen.H - I fixed my link. So I could expect a steady traffic increase off a myspace bulletin? Or would it be just a temp. thing? Adder Robot legal?

BlogAds does sound interesting as well, I am looking into it.

Steady? I would say the excat opposite, the increase will be sudden and will vanish after a few days, but let's say 100 people entered your site, 20 of them bookmarked it or remembered to use it next time they want to watch some woo-hoo at school/work; Then you got what you wanted, rememeber it's free, easy, and quite effective in your case (lots of teens are becoming aware of proxy)

Good luck, BlogAds can bring some quality traffic. People that will actually stay at your site and spread the word. It depends on how much time you will dedictate to evaluate the blog you're advertising on and get to know what kind of readers go there.
