I have had no luck with earning form AdBrite. I have however slowly started getting some monthly money from Text Link Ads. Is everybody's experience similar?

I do a lot better with YPN than I do with AdBrite. I want to try AdBrite again soon though because I like the concept and think that if I implemented the ads right it could end up working out very well.

Well,

Adbrite is a great tool but I'm having a bad experience with them. On the advertiser side (me), my comment is that they should do a better job at estimating the number of clicks an advertiser would get for a particular site.

I advertised a link for a game i'm affiliated with for $2 (1-week ad) because Adbrite said that i'd get an average of 300 clicks.

Okay so I was happy because that was the average and at worse case I thought that i would get a 100-click standard deviation with that. But 2 days remain in my campaign and I only have 1 click...out of 43000 impressions. That's not even .01%!

ypn and adsense are number one but tla is rising as well, however it`s not easy to get accepted to tla. have no experience with adbrite but they left an impression of they are gonna die soon.

adbrite sucks, their information on sites is always wrong. I've heard a new one called advalcano is in the works that will be much more accurate

The mean number of clicks would be a much better indicator than average.

I just got my TLA check today and I'm quite pleased with the amount. Second to AdSense, TLA is my biggest and surest earner.

I think Adsense is the best on the market...
I tried AdBrite both as a seller and buyer and I'm not quite pleased with the results. Never tried TLA, but I might give it a go

Anyone know about AdEngage? They are like AdBrite but a lot smaller. I'm meeting with them Monday to talk some things over.

To side track a little from the topic. Can Adbrite be placed together with Adsense?

Adbrite can be placed with Adsense as long as you turn off the network ads on Adbrite (the ones that get displayed when there are empty ad slots on your site). As long as you only use Adbrite for selling text links on your site, it's okay to have alongside Adsense.

As for Adbrite versus TLA... so far I'm definitely siding with TLA. I had Adbrite on a couple of my sites for about two months and didn't have one link sale. I even let one of my sites sell links at something like 4 cents a day and nobody bought it. That same site was in TLA for three days and somebody already bought a link that amounts to $1.40 (it's only for the last 4 days of this month, so it wasn't $1.40 for the whole month, just 4 days).

So yeah, I'm loving TLA right now if they can keep selling links for me at this rate. I've only had a couple sites in the program for three days though and have only had one link, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.
