Im looking for experts/professionals to give me advice on how to advertise my forum TheHostMarket.com in a way which will get visitors to register!:detective:

1. Get some sort of encouraging welcome message on top of the forum that will make a visitor want to register once they have read it.
2. Cut your amount of forums way down. Having most of your forums empty is not encouraging for a visitor.
3. That is a professional type of forum, what is the deal with all the animal pics and everything else there? You got a decent forum design there if you would just lose those pictures.

I would work on those things before I ever considered doing any actual advertising.

You've got a good start so far. I would recommend posting at various webmaster forums with your link in the signature. Perhaps a giveaway for free hosting at your favorite companies to new members could give it a small boost.

I've never ran a hosting forum so I don't have much knowledge there. Good luck with it though

Also you can try to convience hosting companies to participate (maybe by adding a marketplace area in your forum)

I will advice you to make some posts and make the site feel more active when you start promoting it.

for advertising techniques, I would suggest buying advertising plans at places relating to Domains and Hosting, as they often go together. For internal, I say reduce the number of forums and get a custom design.
