From what I have heard, AdderRobot is currently having some technical difficulties. It was recently updated but is still not functioning at 100% as it should be.

On the other hand I have not heard about any problems. Badder adder is quite a bit more expensive but in my experience it is much more efficient and usable.

My vote would have to go to BadderAdder at the moment.

Well its only 30 bucks more, not too bad really. If you do things right you should be able to make that back in a couple hours. I really just want to have a good, functional piece of software that can add 500 friends / day easily and reliably.

Can anyone confirm that Badder Adder is currently working, and does not have the same issues as Adder Robot?

Also, assuming that both are functioning 100% correctly, what are the main differences between the apps?

I've been using Adder Robot for the past two days and I have had just one little problem. But it seemed to have been an issue with MySpace. I add my 500 friends a day with no issues.

All the progams use the same script, but if myspace changes the code than the programs dont work. Adderrobot has great support though, and I can atest to that cause they replied to my emails in less than 24 hours.

P.S. Adderrobot still doesnt add friend sometimes. It says 'an email has been sent requesting...' but when you hit the back button and add the same person as a friend again it repeats the same message 'an email has been sent ...' instead of saying that you already sent an email. That means that the recipiant never got the friend request. If you are using a friend adder MAKE SURE it is ACTUALLY requesting firends. Do the back button check every 10 minutes to see if friends are actually being added.

Other problems I have found is that it takes a much longer time adding friends. Even with my fast DSL line the rate is markedly slower than a month ago when i could breeze though 100's of profiles in half an hour with multiple windows open and with multiple computers. Nowadays, the windows get frozen. There are a slew of other problems as well which I didn't encounter a month ago.

The problem is the best days of myspace monitization are behind us. There was a window between 2005-mid 2006 when there was easy money to be made using these scripts and then myspace started going on the offense as more and more people began using these scripts, and as the overall popularity of myspace increased. I was lucky enough to create multiple profiles with over 100K friends as well as as a couple very profitable myspace resource sites in 2005.

I use Adderbot and it is very cool.

Myspace changes the set up to stop adderbot, adderbot changes to get round it.
Constantly updated and cheap enough to try.

I turn the graphics off so it can go faster, I use Firefox so it makes no difference.
I no longer get involved with chatting to people, wastes too much time.

You can run adderbot all day and I do on several accounts, I heard someone has set up a machine that is a dedicated adder machine.

One improvement would be to be able to run multiple instances off adderbot off one pc. Imagine sending out 500 requests spread over 50 accounts a day.

I downloaded the demo of AdderRobot and found I could add 40 friends, change the date of the clock in the bottom right corner and add 40 more

Seemed to work fine for me and defo made me want to buy it!

Well, Badder Adder demo gave me the boot after 30 minutes, so right now Adder Robot is getting my vote.

Seems pretty robust with good features, and most importantly, it works.

I just purchased Badder Adder, and am hoping that it works out. I've started up a couple of Myspace accounts that I'll be using for marketing. We'll see how it goes.
