First off I want to say that the pictures of the WTC (World Trade Centers) hit by the planes and blowing up isn't really a funny picture unless your one of those Pakistan terrorists. So with regards to that I would suggest sorting it. The USA is the biggest market with regards to online users so if you want to make a living/money from your site I would suggest catering your content towards USA/UK users. This will simply make your site more appealing.

Moving on I would suggest reading up on ad placement. You have adverts all over the place. This is not necessarily a bad thing but sometimes a correctly placed ad can get more hits that 4 ads placed in out of the way places.

Your design is good for a start and I think gives you a solid base to start from. I am glad you have focused on getting content added which is also a great start. I would suggest doing something with your URL (linked text) as in Firefox and probably IE any URL currently looks like normal text. Less technical users wont waste time moving their mouse over text to see if they can click it, they want to know where and what they can click.

Keep up the good work and remember not to try and offend your visitors

Luke
