How many people have been declined from a directory because they had adsense displayed on there site?

I got an email saying one of my sites wasnt accepted because it had too many adsense ads..

I have 2 ads also.

Has anyone else had a similar problem?

I've never had that problem... but I know that many Made-for-Adsense looking sites get turned down all the time.

You may want to try taking your ads down until you get accepted, then putting them back up.

I think that's a stupid thing!, because all make sites for making some extra money, if you have a reciprocal link to the directory and if you have descent clean site, your site must be accpeted!

There has been constant fight between sites that sacrifice the value of content to AdSense money making. Search engines love when their site visitors are satisfied with found results. And when these visitors find typical 5 passages' page and AdSense - they feel bad and whine to Google. Google frowns and the pain comes into force.

Give more info so that AdSense look just like a drop in the ocean of good info on your site and then you can stip on anything, being 100% sure that you deliver maximum quality to your site visitors.
