It is rather easy to profit from myspace. But it works against you sometimes, like sometimes you can write a bulletin and get a ton of people coming and clicking on your ads only to realise that you adsense account has been banned.

This happened to me, although I got payed out before my account got banned

I'm working on the theory that myspace is a flash in the pan. I'm not getting an account and I don't want Tom to be my friend. Chances are good that it will be gone in six months anyway. I'm not normally a naysayer, but I've never had a good feeling about myspace.

They are filthy rich. As soon as people start leaving they will give users more features or something, it won't die soon.

LOL, was the adsense ban related to myspace? Or did it get banned cos of other things?

I don't see why they would ban for advertising on MySpace, they still get legit clicks and real cash. Someone explain to me why they would ban because of MySpace.

Well they said invalid clicks, I am cool with that. As my site just went crazy in a few days, in 10 days it maid $6,000 off adsense. So no doubt some of those clicks would be invalid

To protect the advertisers.

Google always says "invalid clicks" when they ban someone. In this case it's just a cover for "you're MySpace traffic converts terrible for our advertisers and we don't want you anymore".

Idd MySpace traffic is pretty good if you know how to convert it.

But for most advertisers it converts really really bad.

It's pretty funny if you think about it (no, not that your Adsense account got banned, that's a bummer sorry man) but it's funny that Google would ban someone due to MySpace traffic when they just paid MySpace $900 Million dollars to be the sole provider of contextual ads and in-house ad units.

Google banned you so that MySpace would get the check instead!?

I do have to admit though, if you went from low $$$ to $6000 in 3 - 10 days then something was definitely up. I'm curious how you generated enough traffic for that out of the blue. Crazy.

They didn't ban him because his traffic was from myspace. They banned him because his click through ratio was too high.
