So i was promoting a religious dating service using myspace. I was doing really well with this service becuz they were giving me $5 a free sign up and made over $2,000 within 5 days.Then BAM! Not only did primary ads disable my links but also stole all my previous commissions for that service. They said the myspace traffic was not working for them and none of the men were of that religion even tho I only targeted that specific religion.
Is it possible to get my commissions back? I know atleast a few converted to paying members and this is plain BS!!1

i dont know, but ringtones do real good for me on myspace

That market is so saturated im sure the epc is super high but how are those kids clicking your link over the 12 others they just recieved in there bullitin?

I run a program with a 1/3 conversion rate and a $2.00+ EPC and not saturated on myspace. Rather spend my time on that then the ringtones.
Anyone break 5 figures a day with ringtones(myspace traffic only)?

That sucks. I hate companies that do this. Your traffic wasnt "working" for them.

That's not your problem. You were told to get them traffic.

To be fair, they should have paid you your commissions, then cut you off saying "your traffic sucks". But instead, they told you your traffic sucks, then didnt pay you for REAL leads.

Thanks for the heads up on PrimaryAds. The last thing I need is another company to steal my commission.

some titles just work better than others...

oh, 5 figures a day, nah only 4...

also... zip offers do real real good... MySpace vs Friendster offer is super hot

I think you dropped the ball in your research here. Myspace does not hold the demographics that your christian dating site (im taking it for granted that its a christian dating site) would want or use. I know that, based on the behavior that goes on at myspace and the reputation, no lagit christian service would want those demographics. not your fault, you just dont understand the christian crowd. Try an different dating service and you will probably do fine.

ps. this is just an observation, in not trying to start a flame or make it out like someone or anyone is better than someone else.

The guy who runs PlentyOfFish.Com (site that makes $10000 a day with adsense) has a blog. Here is what he had to say about MySpace type traffic and conversions to dating signups

Unless they had something in there terms about not promoting via myspace or specific to that offer or something.. You may have a case in your favor... now they would have the right to say the leads you are sending aren't quality and not allow you to use that offer... but it is a fine line for promotions with myspace since many consider it spam marketing...
