I run a site with GREAT content, new content daily, Have had a great campaign running with adwords showing in 1-3 for the keyword i am targeting and CTR is 30%. then today i logon and notice clicks are low on adwords try talking with a specialist all i get is we made some changes in the system and unfortunately it effected a small amount of advertisers and we should have this fixed in the next two weeks.. I asked what should i do untill its fixed they said only thing i could do was increase my bid and it would show more.... I was like my cTR is great the page is great i thought your cost per click was suppose to go down with increase of CTR etc.... no comment back except to read adwords terms... then i jsut closed the sesion... so for the next two weeks instead of driving hundreds of people to this site i get like 30...... UGHHHHHH!!!

My point is i wanted to see if anyone else was having same issue.... as i am not talking about the landing page crap higher bids etc.. they implemented weeks ago this is something new...

Google recently updated their algorithm to try and counter the AdWords advertisers who are buying traffic and monetizing it for more than their cost through the AdSense program. Do you think this might apply to you?

It could apply as the reason i advertise is so i can make money but only stupid people advertise to lose money....

On the bright side if you own Google stock this is a good thing.

Thanks to you Google will likely post quarterly gains next term. Which sucks.

Noit really as i was spending like 100 a day but now i only spend about 20 a day... and on the adsense side i make protionately less due to less traffic.
