I need to get more traffic for my site, here are the things I have done..

I've been following SEO guides and suggestions and I'm now in the top Google results for my niche (in the top 4, but it fluctuates)
I promoted my site through several forums and had a good increase in traffic,but only a few hundred visits
I registered on TextLinkAds and used the $100 promotion to buy 3 ad spots, but received very little traffic so far (only 2 weeks have passed)

My site is about the apple macbook. what should I do to get more traffic?

How about writing some how to's or reviews? Or come up with a cool video. Even a fake video like the apple iphone was a good way to drive traffic.

One thing you can do is to write articles and submit them to article directories like article city and others..

I wrote 5 articles, I'm having a hard time writing more.

Does submitting articles to directories really give me more traffic? I always thought it would take away traffic instead, because people don't have to come to my site to read them.

Something i learned might help with articles.

Use html in your article no matter where you promote. Give a little tease enough to get the person interested to finish reading. At the end hyperlink READ MORE to your site. This way its a win win situation.

the point is to get links, alot of links to your site, and articles is just one way, but you have to do it consistently....

Any JV targets in your niche? Someone who has big base and his/her clients will benefit greatly from your site offer.

Maybe i can help you. i had the same problem. I paid a lot of money for extra traffic but i did not get the amount of traffic i wanted. This was my story until i found trafficswarm. Check out my homepage, there you will find a link 2 trafficswarm. Good luck

try traffic exhange, traffic swarm is very good, i am using it, alsp instantbuzz...you can read some articles in my site and look around there, you will find interesting stuff....

Traffic Swarm and traffic exchange seem a bit fishy? Any top earners have testimonies of these sites?

I think Traffic Swarm is one of the best traffic generators you can have. I've seen some of the top marketer site displayed there and I know they are making money.

Someone already said this, but I think I can add to it. Writing articles is designed to get the readers of the articles to your site. You should have a prewritten "resource box" that you can paste at the bottom of your article. This resource box is a link to your site. When your article are published in the various niche ezines for your product(s), then you have links to your site.

To measure this traffic, use an ad tracking service. I use www.adminder.com.

This will meaure the clicks from each article you submit. The visitor will click a link that goes to your adminder account. The adminder account counts the click and forwards it to your webiste - before the visitor knows what happened. This is good for paid advertising especially, to keep your efficiency at its best.

Just thought of something else. Build your subscriber list. Use getresponse.com to build an automated campaign and pushbuttonleads to build your list.

trafficswarm is free? well im gonna check it out lol, i know i could use a little bit of extra traffic, i do get a couple dozen a day, but i dont find it enough, since its the same thing over and over again

Yes trafficwarm is free, but you can also upgrade to pro version......
Donn..I dont get anything from pushbuttonleads, only one lead and the lead has not confirmed yet....I bought leads from getresponse and have now 15 subscribers.....
