I've got one MySpace account that I just realized hasn't been adding friends for 3 days now. Has anyone ran into this? Should I just let that account cool for a bit and try again in a few days? All my other accounts are adding fine.

I have more accounts, I'm just curious as to why this particular account decided to stop adding friends. I'd prefer to not lose the account, so I'm hoping someone else has seen this before and can let me know how to salvage it.

It doesnt really matter really, if i were you i would start adding friends again.

It's not a bot problem, it's a problem with Myspace itself. The problem started around late July. Supposedly it was for band profiles but that's clearly not the case.

It also happened to me by the way.

I'm switching all my accounts over to Badder Adder this week, Adder Robot is crap.

I created 2 new accounts and neither seem to be adding very well. Not sure if this is the same problem yet, but for the past 2 nights no requests have seemed to get through.

Gonna do some tests tonight adding to other accounts etc. to see if these accounts really are frozen.

Just checked. My two new accounts with about 100 friends each are no longer able to add friends. The accounts are 3 days old. Not sure what the deal is, guess ill recreate them ::sigh::

Try this test. Go to http://www.friendstorm.net/ and using an account that isn't adding friends, try to add 25 friends there. Does the captcha image show up?

I did 50 friend requests and none of them were added, and the image never showed up.

Next I get in my main account that I havn't done any bot stuff with, and bam...friend requests went through. I did 25 requests but no captcha image. I just started using a bot yesterday, and did just 500 requests per account, and until then I DID get the captcha at Friendstorm.com every 10 or so requests.

So is ANYONE able to get the captcha to show up but not get friends?

If you don't get the captcha, the next question might be...how do we get mySpace to stop thinking we are using a bot, or how do we get the captcha to show up!
