Mornin All,
Does anyone else here in the forum find the free classifieds are working for them. I realize in can be a bit of work, but I'm limited to how much I can spend a month. Has anyone had success this route?:tooth:

Hi Ann,
I, too, have been using free classified and the result has not been good. Since my budget on advertising is tight, I have to spend more time on free advertising. Most free classidfieds will ask how long you want your ad to last, try to use the shortest time available so that your ads will always stay fresh and remain at the top of the list.

Since your spending money on advertising is limited, have you try pay per action (CPA). It is similar to PPC except you only pay when you make as sale.

Have you try these:
InstantBuzz.com/r/?jazzbuzz"
trafficswarm.com/go.cgi?105943
ts25.com/index_s2.jsp?ref=bizseek

I use free classified but only for exposure. Actual results are slim to none.
But a good ad can atleast get your site some views and, occasionally, maybe even a lucky customer or 2. Just remember, they are free for a reason.

This might not cost money, but it does cost time.

If something isn't working, either change a part of it or stop.

Instead of a classified, try a BLOG and submit by hand. You will build up content over time.

If I were you I would save up some money and offer to help someone that is making money in exchange for mentoing. That is just MHO, your results may vary.

Take Care,

Michael

In my case free classified postings resulted in 50-100 unique visitors per week. If it is acceptale traffic for you and it is worth your time - then give a try.

I'd rather put time into a blog that wil bring sustained exposure than free classifieds that are of little value. People ready to spend aren't going to look in free classifieds for the people they want to do business with.
