I need some advice on how to advertise my new project!

The site is http://awdforums.com/index.php

I will have a very good audience, I cant really advertise in forum sigs as I will get banned at the biggest competitors websites (evolutionm.net and nasioc.com).

How am I to get visitors for this site? Think I could contact part vendors and give them free ad space for a few months if they advertise or somthing?

I've been driving traffic with targeted myspace profiles. Do a search for AWD and other keywords, get a list of friend ID's, then just talk to them and let them know about your forum. Also, write an interesting article and try to get it picked up by the social bookmarking sites. Just some thoughts.

well first of all you are going to need to get some posts in there. Would you want to ask a question on a site that doesnt have any posts or members? get some friends or maybe pay some people to post on the site with some good content, after you have some posts you can start advertising
