Anyone actually able to get a refund on Badder Adder?

the time we have been waiting is ridiculous. I would have liked to have seen an email being sent letting us know the problem you were having at least. regardless i have had tickets outstanding as far as 2 months back.
1. When I extract id's from friend request it stops after the first page.
2. When I chain, it oftentimes doesn't stop at the limit number so it just ends up sending the account over the limit and stopping the chain at the first account.
3. My messages do not get saved properly so I can only chain on certain accounts. Some accounts stay with a message I used months ago even though I've changed it countless times, when you reset it the default that pops up is an old one.
4. I look forward to the bulletin fix, and the to use of your NEWSLETTER again. I used to be so satisfied hearing from the owner of the company once every two weeks to let me know there is some hope even if I hadn't heard from support. But lately recieving none of those things had me going down the refund route as well. I will leave this in the forum and submit another ticket. I like your program but need it to WORK. If it doesn't then I will have to go elsewhere.

Usually its a "fatal error", but sometimes it just pauses. Even if you come up with a fix I'm sure more issues will just pop up. I just need a way to continue a "broken" chain.

Rageman,
An email was sent to customers over the weekend alerting them of the issues. Please check your bulk or spam folders if you didn't receive it in your inbox.
As for the newsletter, I've never done a newsletter... If you signed up on the homepage, you received a 7-day intro to Badder Adder autoresponder and that's it. Once a customer, you've received notices of updates and/or known issues, like the message sent this weekend - but I haven't been mailing my list just to say "hi."
Re: messages not being saved - I'm a little confused, as Badder Adder hasn't been able to save messages for "months" - this is a new feature introduced in the last update with chaining. Regardless, it sounds like the messages file for the account is corrupted and thus not applying your changes properly. I'd suggest deleting the file and re-entering the messages. Let me know if you need more specific instructions.
Re: chaining - you have to go into each account and set it's limit individually. This is because on an old account, you may be able to send 450 friend requests with no problem, so you'd set the limit there. For a newer account, you might want to lay low and not max it out from the beginning, so it would make more sense to limit that profile to, say, 200 friend requests.
This way, you can chain accounts and have each work with a limit that's appropriate for it's age.
Vizilla - Are you running Internet Explorer 7 (beta)? That's caused a lot of problems on my system, including shutting Google Desktop down, shutting down a Norton installer, and giving Badder Adder fatal errors.

My apologies for calling it a newsletter, I just meant the update emails you were sending. I recently updated my email maybe the system didn't change over? Please advise on that.
For the messages:
I'm not sure which file you're saying to delete. i've never seen a messages text file only bulletins, comments, and then a messageslog file that keeps the id's of the people i've sent messages too. Please give me more specific instructions.
For chaining: I have been setting each account individually. It's just that sometimes it stops at the number and sometimes it just keeps going.
What about my extracting ids problem? I can't extract pass the 1st page of ID's on friend request. It works fine everywhere else but it stops on the 1st page of friend request.

For chaining would be nice for the following features:
Accepting friend requests
Post 1 same bulletin throughout all acounts instead of adding manually
Sending friend requests set a fixed limit for each acount on one form
I hope you read this michelle

Michelle -
I just wanted to add my voice to the chorus of those requesting both a refund and a better customer relations policy. I submitted my first refund request over two weeks ago, with my Order ID and the words "Refund request" actually in the title of the email, and I have yet to hear anything back from your company beyond an automatic "New ticket submission" email, even with repeated submissions.
I realize you've been getting swamped by customer support requests, but as an increasingly pissed off customer I would ask you to take ten minutes out of your day to do the following:
1. Either delete or modify your no-hassle, money back guarantee to reflect the reality of the situation, which is that you have to type "Badder Adder support forum" into Google and click through the search results until you find this particular thread in this particular forum, then register for an account, log in, and PM you in hopes of one day getting a refund;
2. Either open up the comments on BadderAdder.com or provide a link to outside forums, like this one, where users can actually talk to each other.
Beyond that, I bear you no ill will - your software simply caused me more headaches than I was expecting it to, and I'd like you to honor your money-back guarantee.
Thank you,
Dave L.
(I'll be PMing you my order information)

Is there a direct email that she uses to reply? I had a few questions and haven't heard back for a few days now.

The support email I sent with a funtionality question was answered, the one requesting a refund was not. It has been a week or more and no reply to my money back request, it seems like they are waiting for the refund period to be over.

It's been five days since I PMed her, and so far nothing. Except, of course, for a gushing mass email announcing how she's redesigned the BadderAdder homepage to showcase the wealth of positive feedback she's received. And she's changed the "Risk Free For 30 Days" guarantee so that it's now *highlighted.*

I don't see why you all want your money back and are all freaked out about Badder Adder. It's a good app., works well, and so far, every time myspace has made a code change they have come back with a new version that gets around it.
So what if they can't handle the support load every time all of their customers decide to freak out all at once and pull out. If you don't like it, try building your own app and then rewriting it each time myspace comes up w/ a sneaky new code change.
BadderAdder is doing the hard work for you (us) all, so I'd say give them some credit and remember that they're making it possible to do (and will probably take the fall if any one does for) something that isn't even allowed.

A guarantee is a guarantee, and when you offer one without actually honoring it, you are defrauding your customers. That's great that it works so well for so many people, but it routinely crashed my system after less than 50 adds, and after numerous support requests went unanswered I requested my money back, which I still haven't gotten.
It's just really sleazy (and probably illegal) to take advantage of all the additional sales you get from offering a risk-free guarantee, and then never follow through with it, regardless of what you're selling or how well it's made.
