Anyone actually able to get a refund on Badder Adder?

At first it seemed like this product was great.

But for some reason now, it doesn't seem to work. It will send about 50 friend requests before running into the CAPTCHA code. But instead of skipping the CAPTCHA code and going to the next ID, it starts going to user profiles and doing nothing.

However, the Support Page says this:
Quote:
Badder Adder is able to bypass the image verification (captcha) when adding friends. When it does this, you might see a random profile pop up on the screen - don't worry, Badder Adder is doing it's work in the background and once the image verification is bypassed, will resume adding the friends you've specified.
At this point, that seems to be false as it does not seem to be sending friend requests after this happens.

I submitted a ticket the other day with no response yet.

I also sent an email directly to the girl who supposedly runs the site at michelle@beginnermillionaire.com

On the site it says this:
Quote:
You risk nothing.

You have the right to a prompt and full refund for 30 full days (even after you've used Badder Adder). No questions, no quibbles - all risk is lifted from your shoulders and placed squarely on mine.

Fair enough?
Sounds great, doesn't it? But I have yet to find a place on the site where I can request this supposed "refund" (other than the "tech support", which is useless).

I am feeling quite scammed.

Yeah, BadderAdder sucks.

Maybe we can all do a chargeback at the same time.

Well it is as true as the saying, you get what you paid for

Myspace spamming is against the TOS, so I gather Karma is not with you today

So far still no response from tech support.

Also, I emailed her directly asking for a refund... No reply.

I also sent another email to support@badderadder.com requesting a refund after receiving an email about a pending software update.

So basically it sounds like Badder Adder hasn't been completely abandoned, she's just avoiding her customers and keeping our money.

I would advise people to stay away from Badder Adder and go with Adder Robot. It's a LOT cheaper, and great support.

Since emails have been useless thus far, so do I.

If not, I guess we can call her. If the WHOIS on her domain is accurate, here is her contact #:

(530) 333-0875

If that doesn't work, maybe this address is her office:

4481 Slodusty Road
Garden Valley, CA 95633

That isn't too far away from me, maybe I can stop by?

Can't you just post a link to that other forum? Or at least PM it to me?

From a paying customer perspective, Badder Adder has already proved itself as a waste of money for those with problems - no matter what problems the owners may be having as that is not our fault. However, I would just like my refund. Plain and simple. I don't care if the problem gets fixed, I would rather take my money elsewhere. On her site she said she would give a refund and honestly, I am doubtful ANYONE has EVER got one or ever will.

Re: the support desk - yes, it's getting slammed, as GeorgeB was kind enough to post here for me. There are a few unsavory guys out there, selling A version of BA that's cracked, and it doesn't seem to work 3/4 of the time. Those people are then directed to my support desk for help - and my staff is spending HOURS each day determining who the *real* BA customers are and helping them.

To deal with the issue, I've changed the support desk as of today so that you can only submit a ticket if you acompany it with an Order ID # - to help us determine immeidately who's a customer of ours and who's not, and thus help those people who deserve it.

I've also hired an additional 2 support reps to deal with the ticket backlog.

BTW - emails to support@ badder adder dot com go direct to the support desk - not to any individuals inbox. That way we have a record of support requests.

As for the original issue in this thread - adding friends not working, it seems. The way the program works is - it goes to add a friend, and if it hits the image verification, it'll go to a random user's page. In the background, so you can't see, it does it's CAPTCHA bypassing business. Once CAPTCHA is byapssed, it'll return to adding friends as per normal. So your seeing random profiles is completely normal. However, there are times that MySpace is particurally busy and thus slow, and it'll seem to hang on a profile for a looooong time - just let it do it's thing, it'll get though eventually.

The only other thing that could be occuring with your account is that it's been flagged for sending out too many friend requests. Make sure you set the "Limit # to Send" to something under 400 for new accounts. I stick to around 300-350 on brand new accounts and have had no problem with them being shut down/limited/banned. It's when you continually max out MySpace's limits that your account will start doing weird things/not adding people, etc.

Work the system, don't try to abuse it.

That said, anyone here who would like a refund is welcome to PM me personally through this forum and I will issue it within 1 business day (please include your Order ID# so I can get it done ASAP). I am not in this business to take advantage/steal from people or provide a substandard product - that's why I'm here now, that's why I continue to update the software and introduce new features like Chaining that no one else has.

I do believe in my product 100% and will always stand by my guarantee!

Last night I tried again. As soon as it runs into the CAPTCHA, it starts going to profiles. So at that moment I checked what time my last friend request was sent. I let it go all night because you said to "just let it do it's thing". I woke up this morning and checked again, and no friend requests have been added.

Zygoot - MySpace made code change and bulletins had to be updated, the fix will be out today.

Tman - then your account has been flagged for sending too high a volume. Start a new account and you'll see it works just fine.

Hi Michelle

What I usually do is extract 3000 IDs and set up a chain for 7 accounts.

Unfortunately, what usually happens is that there is some error after 500 requests or so and the adding stops.

Is there anyway to resume the adding (so that the first 500 IDs are not requested again)?

Tman's refund has been processed, per his request, and a PM sent with transaction details.

Anyone interested in Badder Adder is always welcome to download the free trial before they buy. I'm not certain exactly what exactly happened with Tman's account, and can only speculate based on the information he's given me, but Badder Adder does indeed, and always has, bypassed the CAPTCHA when adding friends.

Having your account limited by *MySpace* can and does happen regularly by newbies who are a bit overzealous in their tactics. Like any IM technique (i.e. blog n ping, tagging, etc.) it can be taken to far and have the reverse effect.

Vizilla - it really depends on the error you are receiving. Is it a MySpace error, a Badder Adder error? Let me know and I'll tell you what can be done.
