I would like to know if anyone uses any of the various classfied Ad sites
that are out there. I am testing one now called Web-Dawg with some sucess and I also use TrackThatAd to monitor the results.

Hi, if you use trackthat ad, I hope you are a paid member, otherwise you will be directing the traffic to your upline..

I was using this service when I started, and I found it great, but you need to be a paid member otherwise it's not worth it.

I left them. (Just my opinion)

Second, are you talking about paid service ot Free?

A good free one I use is: http://www.adlandpro.com (difficult to use in the beginning..), but there is some good feature, and you get real visitors..

But really consider what I told you about track that ad.

Im useing Power Submitter Pro to do all my classified submissions with great results. Its a bit tricky to use when you first get it, but it saves you hours of tedious repetative hand submissions & with the AOS tool, it puts the entire operation on auto-piolet. Never again will you miss another resubmission date.
This software was worth 100 times more than I paid for it.

I also think that classified ad are a great way to go. You can never advertise to much, right?

You have probably noticed that many classified sites have a free posting option. I'm sure you have also noticed that these same sites have a paid option as well. Have you ever thought of why? After all if there is no difference in the effectiveness between a free classified ad and a paid one, why pay for one at all?

The answer is actually quite simple. Most classified ad sites that offer free classified posting services place those ads either on the last page of a very long list of pages or even if that ad does end up on page 1, because of the number of free ads posted, your ad is off the page within minutes.

Paid ads on the other hand get priority because the person posting the ad pays for it, plain and simple. These ads stay on page 1 or near it much longer. Some classified sites will cycle your ad or renew it every day or even every hour. This gives your paid ad much more exposure and ultimately gives you more chance of making a sale.

Hey thomas good thread man,

I've dabbled in a little classified advertising, so may variables though it's hard to find something consistent. I find it very hit and miss. Had zero luck with my local newspapers too, I guess no-one around here has the internet lol

Anyone had better luck with paid advertising over free? Or the other way around?
