Hi,

I was wondering if it would be profitable to buy myspace domains from people that have a popular search word after the myspace.com such as myspace.com/televisions. I mean I've seen movies being marketed on myspace now with the name of the movie after the myspace.com. Just curious.

I don't think it would cost anything actually, unless it's some famous band's name like myspace.com/blink182.

But yeah, I've heard of cases where a person has immense traffic, simply because they own a band url.

Yeah but I mean profiles like

myspace.com/plusfourtyfour and myspace.com/plus 44 (real one). Their official site is http://plusfourtyfour.com/, so regular users will plug that in to the profile, when it's actually myspace.com/plus44. Not sure if I explained myself correctly, but whatever.

myspace.com/grudgetwo

Any ideas on what I could do with these?

These movies are releasing this fall/winter, I imagine they will recieve a decent amount of traffic.

Should I put a fandago affiliate link on it and sell the tickets to these movies?

Any help would be appreciated!

I have never really thought of that.. that seems like a good idea.

Proline00, I'd say give it a try. Make the profiles custom fo the theme of each movie and focus alot of the attention on the affiliate link. I bet that could actually do well.

I'm gonna research some more on this type of thing!

Good luck, hopefully they don't get deleted. But most of type in traffic comes from bands, not movies.

The problem is you cannot just buy and sell the domains you have to sell the whole accounts.
