most of those methods are slow, antiquated, and oversaturated.

I make $xxx a day with adsense/yahoo publisher and i use few if any of those strategies above. If you really want to earn money online you need to think outside the box and stop doing the same crap that everyone else is already doing.

Why?

SATURATION -the #1 killer of online success IMHO

Submit articles? You and the 200000 other webmaster who are doing the same.

Links? Wow a revelation!!!

Content? Who wuddu thunk that one up1!

Blog? So 1999 good for spamming though

Best of luck though.

Well worldwebuser, I read you "instructions" document a while back and I gotta say, spamming myspace with links to throw away .info domains with nothing more than a page full of keywords and some adsense ads on it doesn't exactly seem like the key to life long success either there sparky.

In fact compared to the advice given in the article your advice seems kinda crappy

Thats not the point- my post illustrates the importance of thinking outside the box

I have been buiding for profit websites for over 2 years. It wasnt until I used my myspace method that I started making consistant solid income online. I wrote content websites, did link exchanges, ect but the results were underwhelming. Even after getting a PR of 5 on many my content sites and de-sandboxed the results just wern't that good.

To each his own

I here ya brother. But the fact that you did all that and it didn't pan out for you to me screams bad keyword or niche selection. Not saying I'm right that's just my first hunch.

I found out the hard way that general entertainment niches and keywords need a lot more than just the traffic search engines can send them to be ultimately profitable.

P.S. Copyblogger is one of the very few blogs I actually took a minute out of my life to subscribe to and put it on my Google homepage. I'll be spending the rest of the day going through all those links for tips I haven't used in case anyone needs me

Eww. Are you always this nasty?

Not to be rude, but I make more money than you do, so I think I have clue what I am doing. Please don't pollute a good thread with that crap. I wouldn't have posted it if it wasn't worth reading.

Thank you and have a nice day.

Laura

PS. George, I totally agree.

You know it's not about content, it's about quality of the content in trying to learn from each other. Everyone has experience in internet life no matter what type of experience it may be. Sometimes people feel alienated and hesitant to participate in forums if they feel that their submissions will be ridiculed. Just a question, isn't everyone at the bottom when they first start? And how does one succeed? -- Perhaps by learning from everyone else.

Just my thoughts, thank you.

That list from copyblogger looks good - don't know when I'll have the time to read it though!
If you're interested in article submission, then Content Propulsion Lab looks like a good company to go for. I'll be trying them out shortly.....

best wishes!

Ouch!

I think he is right in ways. Webuser, your info was helpful for someone new to it to get started in this business but I don't think myspace help sites that spam are going to go very far. They may make money now but what happens once myspace gets a good hold on spamming? Then they no longer work. I do appreciate your posting of that guide for free as you are trying to help others but I don't think it gives you any room to say things about other people's advice that is probably in the long run better advice.

worldwebuser... hm!

"Submit articles? You and the 200000 other webmaster who are doing the same."

You do have a nice view on things , but the reason people are using methods like article marketing and getting links are because they work.

And when you talk about your way of making money "adsense/myspace" do you really think that less then 200000 people are going to do that in a few months? What will you do when that won't work anymore?

I don't say that you are wrong about "thinking outside the box", but you need to use real tactics too if you want to make an ongoing stream of income online.

Adsense/Myspace is not going to make you money for the rest of your life that's all that I want to point out.

Don't underestimate the power of article marketing. Submitting articles are what big-time internet marketers use to get traffic. After all, it's FREE. And you earn credibility for giving free informations that others will benefit. They'll think you're an authority on the topic you're writing about, so chances are, they'll go to your website that is in your resource box. And the most of all, it's VIRAL. Imagine all your published articles are getting used by webmasters and re-published in ezines, and with your resource box in every one of those?

Even the gurus says that the articles they published two years before still provides them FREE traffic until now. Imagine, TWO YEARS...

This is the "author bio" that is below your article body and it's also known as your "SIG" (short for SIGnature).

The BODY of your article is where you "GIVE" and the RESOURCE BOX is where you get to "TAKE" for your article marketing gift of information. The resource box is the "currency of payment" you receive for giving away your article.
