My friend has coded a MySpace OCR which reads the CAPTCHA image with 80% accuracy (meaining it gets it right 4 out of 5 times). He is charging $300 per month for usage of it. Contact me if you are interested.

I only try the captcha twice and then leave it. It is not worth wasting time behind the captcha unless it is important. Some captch's are so stupid that even if you enter the correct ones it says was not correct. Lol
These kinds of things definitely will reduce earnings for the site owners.
