New ideas generate publicity and in turn generate huge amounts of traffic, page views and eventual clicks onto your ads! I don’t want this to sound like an ad but it fits as an example of what I am trying to point out. I am a 4th year software engineering and management student and me and my partners had an idea to build a Mansion of Ads to firstly, move out of my parents house, learn about marketing, and hopefully generate publicity for the advertisers. Advertising is becoming boring for people to view (banners, pop-ups etc) and I think this is an idea that will bring the spark into online ads.

Your ambition is great, but as many on this site will likely say, the idea is not. This is an obvious throwback to the million dollar home page. Don't get me wrong, i've tried to think of a spin on it just like you are doing (and just like 1267846343 other people have), but what you'll realize is these ideas only work once. The ideas that are soo stupid they are brilliant are brilliant the first time. The second time they are just stupid.

I would keep trying different things and see what works.
