Alright well first of all, I have no clue what half of these things are...I have a facebook but have had one since it was enabled at UCLA...now that I live in Texas i guess its kind of useless except to keep in touch with friends...If you honestly believe thats going to be the next big thing...i dont know...i promise you its not...To be honest with you I thought craigslist was going to be the next greatest thing for a long time...but I guess it all depends on what you feel is big...No one on here has ever mentioned Orkut...Its what I would call "stuck in the middle of Facebook and Myspace"
Its very hard to edit, but at the same time its not bland by any means...Craigslist isnt really social network other than the personals that they have, but its cheap to run...Orkut is run by Google...so you know its not going to die...they will always come up with something new...but honestly...I havent heard half of the things people have been saying...and the internet is my life...So I dont know what this Second Life stuff is, but its just a game, its something that you have to pay attention to quite a bit to be well at it, and I guarentee you that there are more than enough people who do not want to sit there on a computer and play some stupid game about making money when they could be making real money doing something REAL...
Myspace, Facebook, Youtube, Orkut, Friendster, Xanga, MSN, AOL....all of these services have a lot on common...the main one being that they only take a maximum of 30min - 1 hour a day to run...unless you advertise like muah...then its your life...but anyways ORKUT is the real deal, its the next big thing....look it up on alexa or anything...
