What do you guys do about bandwidth?
I just got my site up and running and while I wasn't expecting much and put it in a tiny hosting plan, I'm already upgrading for the second time due to bandwidth issues.
Do you host your images remotely at photobucket etc?

Those type of sites take up a lot of bandwidth and you need to learn how to monitize it ASAP. If you get a lot of impressions go for CPM publishers.

I host all of my images on my site, I used photobucket for a while but its completely worthless if you are hosting layouts there. The user will see "bandwidth exceeded" as their background image, and probably won't return to your site for that reason. Mine currently uses about 13-16gigs of bandwidth per day, and I only get about 2500 daily uniques. I pay $10/month for a terabyte of bandwidth, not having any problems. Looking for other ways to generate reveue from the site, as my adsense earnings blow!

if your gunna be paying extra for bandwith you will need to come up with a plan or two plans really.

1) make more of you spare space moneytised....adsense, banner ads, etc etc

2) advertise the fact your getting lots of traffic and have a section where people can buy advertising from you....you can charge what you want depending on your PR i guess. but its just another revenue raiser for your website.

the potential is huge with these kinds of strategies...and if your smart about it and market right you can make some good coin!
