I would think that an account like that would be listed for much less than that. Especially since MySpace is cracking down on all of these spammers, and everything. With all of their new filters, I would think it's much more time consuming to market with MySpace. But what do I know? :P

I agree, myspace has a lot of new techniques out there to prevent spam, including a couple of court cases. To me, myspace is almost becoming an outdated traffic resource.

there is a lot of confusion out there at present people saying myspace is dead....or you might see titles in other forums saying the death of myspace.....its just not true people!!

for anyone buying the myspace account it might be worth your while....I would be very careful the way you market now on myspace but it is definatly not dead. You see there are some marketers that I have met with, infact the end of last year that are pulling amazing amounts of money with myspace its just not funny.

The even more intresting thing about this is that they have totally different approach to the newbie style approach to marketing "get a list and spam that list to death" Smart marketing and smarter marketers understand the power of having a nice list and how you treat that list is what determines how successful you will be. You have to feed them great content and form a relationship like a best friend...the internet is a breeding ground for fraudsters so the more spammy you sound the less effective you will be in the long run.

the first thing you must do is get a list of people that are already succesful with myspace and for a marketing appoach similar to thiers....there are not many people doing this properly so it might take you a bit of time but its well worth it....there is such a big myspace / youtube craze still about.
