Hello Friends,

I would like to share some of the secrets to Increasing Google Page Rank which I know:

Making site full of content rather than placing a lot of images.
Trying to get the quality inbound links
Optimizing site properly. If you know how to optimize site properly then do it yourself so that you can minimize your cost. Else you assign this job to some good search engine optimizer which would help your site to increase the page rank
Building the reciprocal links
Finally, Google loves most frequent updation of site.

Regards,

I would be agreed with you, Infact you can try many services as forum promotion and site promotion etc. The latest technique is used by postingpays itself.

The site really needs to be well though out. It definitely not what it used to be.
"Throw the site out there & they will come" anymore. Your battling big corporations & skilled money makers..
Target content is the key really..You should do your homework(seo & keywords search) then build from there.
The whole site has to be geared towards your subject at least until it takes off.
Images are great, but the name of the picture in the html even matters to the overall PR.
Once the page is truly ready then release to the engines..
Good Luck!!

Umm... no...

The only thing that increases page rank is inbound links.

Are you thinking of improving Google SERPS?

I suppose better and more unique content can get you more inbound links, but Will is right, number of inbound links determine PR.

guys pagerank means diddleysquat these days. I see so many pr 6 sites not even ranked in the top 100. Stop focusing on pagerank and start focusing on the quality of the site u are linking to

A site does not rank good just because of a high PR that is true, but from my experience I can say, that a site with PR gets crawled more frequently and also has more pages in the google index.

Another good thing about Page Rank is that you can sell links from those pages for more money.

My seo recently got first page rankings in google for a site that was pr zero at that time for some good keywords. He wanted me to get over this thought-frame and proved pr meant nothing, and i saw it in front of my eyes.
It was actually ranked no 1 until their webmaster change some onsite things.
Yes you can sell links on those pages but to only people that still have the mindset that pr actually means alot anymore

on page has its own important but in case of PR i believe the most imp factor is link link n only link.. Inbound Links from high PR quality and relevant sites can get you good PR as well as improve your rankings too.

Yup! Quality inbound links to be more precise

Content does a major role in quality link building. If you have useful, unique and relevant content in your niche - you have more chances of having other sites linking naturally to you. Such links are weighed more in PR building...

people have misunderstanding and simply myth about PR. Increase it doesn't mean higher SERP. you have to have keywords, you want ranking or PR?

a site can have high PR but doesn't mean it has a high ranking for some keywords or the keywords is so less competitive it is easier to rank...

e.g. I am from HK, there is a big ISP in HK called netvigator.
if you google is showed up the first result. But there is no other netvigator, and indeed it has high page rank (5) (but what does that mean? )

The company doesn't bother to show up they are the biggest ISP in HK in the page title or at least saying they are an ISP in HK in the title.

Is their decision but to me I will at least add HK biggest ISP in the page title and also building links with this keyword.

so you see to have high page rank doesn't nessecary is a good thing.

another example, if you query "affiliate program" on google, the first site on the SERP is bidvertiser.com, PR = 6.

If you check on the page, you will see apple - itunes affiliates there, Let's check the Page rank, it has 8!!!

so you see high page rank not equals to high search engine ranking. High search engine ranking depends on many other factors. one important factor is
where you put your keyword on your web page title.

Notice the word "where". Just including a keyword in your page title tag is not as good as if you include it at the beginning of your title tag.

so keep that in mind.
