Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some unique ideas to promote my new link auction script. phpLinkBid was released just a few days ago, and so far I have been promoting on Webmaster marketplace forums and my own network.

I got approved on Hotscripts and might do a premium link there. I hope to have an affiliate program going for the script soon too!

Any ideas would be great!

word of mouth, also have bloggers review your script. that uswally helps products to become known.

Try posting at nerdpoint.com - they now have a scripts section where you can get a discussion going around your script.

Something like PromoSoft might help you out. It's been quite a while since I have used it but it did work for me..

Pearse, when you say it worked for you, do you have a general idea of what type of traffic to expect using PromoSoft?

Added to nerdpoint and I am looking for some blogposts too.

Well I had a customer make $600 off their phpLinkBid site in the first day, so that's pretty good advertising in itself. I hope to do a bit of a case study on the site!
