So, clickbank updated their paychecks today. I am really tired of refunds and such so I am starting up my own company w/o refunds
I pulled in $18,900 april 1st-15th
$2,400 were refunds
$1,600 was allocated for allowance
Pretty lame, thats why im doing this. If you want to advertise for the site im creating it will be weekly payments, and NO REFUNDS and no allowance either

Yeah, clickbank sucks, they took like $3,000 in refunds plus like another $1,500 for allowance out of my $13,382 for this payperiod. Can't wait till our site's back up so we can start really makin money!

Yes, unfortuantly I am complaining:devil2: I was just putting making a point of how much money refunds will end up costing you through clickbank. Thats why im getting my own company set up, and the motto of the company will be "all sales final"

Well clickbank offeres 3 months for a refund, thats insane. And the site I promote which converts the best is through clickbank and they say nowhere on the site they offer refunds. So obvioulsy, posting on the website "money back gurauntee" Doesnt work And beleive me, ive promoted enough companies to know

about the site that converts the best, clickbank requires you to add that 60 day refund on your site (i know, i'm a vendor also).

Well if you have also promoted on clickbank for more than 2 years, you would also know that clickbank didnt always require you to post the 60 day refund on your site, nor do they make you update the site after the switch. It just so happens the site I promote was created before the policy changes. All future "Home Employment" sites will have to add that, and as of 3 months ago, you cannot add sites which shows the amount of money you can potentially make.

Blanket, are you just a Clickbank vendor? Or do you also promote other sites through clickbank?

Well then can you agree that the affiliate side of clickbank gets screwed?

yeah, but clickbank is the best for digital products right now. As a vendor and affiliate, i would go with them for digital products. paydotcom tried to come up with a clickbank copycat with NO REFUNDS, but they suck in my opinion.
I'm just saying that if you don't have the "money back gurauntee" on your site, it won't convert as well which results in less sales. I've tested this a lot for my sites. But every vendor is different, who knows.

I have to go with viper54 on this one, it doesn't matter if it has a money back guarantee. The sites without one have just as good conversion as those with it.

I do agree though, if you are new, and want to get started go with CLICKBANK, it beats out all the other ones out there, but once your making as much as I or others on this forum, start your own site, and pay youself

I agree as well, For I just started my own site and I would bring in $10k-$19k every two weeks with clickbank. I too got tired of the refunds and so I put my site on Paydotcom, however....not one affiliate has made a sale and im wondering if I should just go straight to paypal instead of going through paydotcom -> then paypal. What do you guys think?

Get your own merchant account at cardservice international, use that and paypal, then get your own affiliate program, post affiliate pro if you want to promote for your self.

i like clickbank cause they have hundreds of thousands of affiliates ready to promote your product. the thing with having your own affiliate script is.... affiliates don't trust you. As an affiliate... would you trust a site you never heard about (entering your personal information and worrying about them paying you or not)? for me, i wouldnt. But if your a famous marketer, it should be okay if you have your own script cause your already famous...
