Hello guys,

We have figured out that it was definitely myspace who called us. They just called back.

Earlier, I sent abuse@myspace.com an email validating the claims of this phone call. It was a completely new email account that I just created. They replied back about 3 minutes ago.

So i urge you guys to stop spamming, they are pushing hardcore for this and the money you generate will be seized. They are likely to take legal action against spammers.

Anyways, this is a heads up. Thanks

get a wireless reciever that can intercept signals from a 3 mile radius and use your neighbors connections.

or

get a offshore dedicated host and use it to run whatever programs you use to spam. just make sure your entire computers blanketed by a proxy system like tor. if your servers ip get blocked then have your host give you a new ip.

simple.

What MySpace does not realize, is that spammers will always be there, for as long as their website allows them to spam. Yes, they can take people to court, but this will not solve anything. New people will join and more spam will come.

If they really want to stop the spam, then they should focus more on securing their site rather than calling people and sending them e-mails. There are so many ways to prevent bots from logging in or creating fake accounts. Yet, they don't do sh*t about it. It's either they are not serious enough about this issue or their programmers are lazy overpaid asses.

hopefully you won't run away or bring the website down or you'll be facing more troubles. might get sued by affiliates or the members of the site.

Wouldn't that be harassment I believe they would have to send you a letter somewhat like a cease and desist for spamming. Either way I doubt they can do this as there are really no laws protecting myspace from spammers.

Release Renew IP as well. Would that not change your IP? Too many ways around it.

ISP's keep records of your assigned ip's, plus if you're on a network that assigns ips to your modems MAC address release/renew doesn't work. (at least i think ip's are assigned to your netword card/modem mac address).

Exactly, you just threw away 35k a month... You have a topic saying (i dont know exactly because i have only seen it after you edited the first post but im guessing) "come sign up at my survey site, spam myspace and make $xx,xxx like me!" You were actively trying to introduce more spammers to myspace. Not only that but you didnt have a whois guard on the domain you were linking to! A simple whois on the domain and they have all your info. If you get caught spamming on myspace i would say fair cop and stop to avoid any lawsuits, but if you havent been caught yet, go hell for leather, why not, rinse as much out of it as you can, just know that the income will stop one day

I believed it at first, until i saw the Reply Posts, it started to come crystal clear to me. I don't know why Myspace would give you a phone call, by that i mean, they should be sending you a letter. Plus, 35K a month? Ill buy a mansion if i earned that much. Your a lier, fall stop.

Doubt he made 35k from it.... He may have made 35k once he got everyone to signup to his survey program and then not paid out to anybody, but seems that plot was foiled as well
