Any pitfalls or pointers I should watch out for?

Hey all, great site here. I've been lurking and learning loads so thought I'd reg and ask a question. I hope my experience grows so I can chime in with my $0.02 at some point too.

I've started promoting my music on myspace and it's going amazingly well. Within the space of a month I've gathered lots of genuine fans whose incredibly positive responses to my music has made people in the industry actually take notice. God bless FB pro! (and good music of course!!). So now I'm worried.... Do I keep adding a few hundred at a time through FB pro or do I sit back on my 3000 friends and not risk deletion? Are there any other ways to use myspace to get people to my music page without using my own? Any thoughts on other bots aside from FB pro?

And has anyone gotten wind of a fix for the log in problems with FB pro lately?

There is no login problems with the latest version.

on a side note: Keep the rift-raft of the names of softwares down low. If myspace is "viewing" this forum then they will be able to go after to programmers that make this so easy.

That's a very good idea. perhaps a MOD or a respected forum member could make an announcement or post saying that everyone should not mention program names publicly?

I don't think the moderators here want to get involved in the myspace debates one way or another.

My 2cw: Keep it to pm's with other members you know or who have a history of posts. If you get a pm from anyone with only one or two posts, ignore.
