I am soon to release a forum. I haven't looked into MySpace advertising and i hardly anything on how people use it to promote. I'm just wondering, is it effective to advertise a forum (general)? Plus, how does myspace advertising work, is there different methods?

I had someone post like 5 bulletins a day (15k friends), not effective. Rather go to a similar forums, add to sig, and post there.

Those so called 15k friends, did he/she get them from a myspace train or manually from groups...etc. Personally, i think MySpace Trains are now stupid, too many advertisers are using them so really all your adding is advertisers.
