msplinks are breaking my balls from a week ago.

I was marketing with a domain this way: xxxx.com / blah .html and suddenly: msplinks redirects all xxxx.com to myspace.com.

This domain worked around a month, so, I set up another one. Took three days to redirect to ms. set up another, and redirected same day !!!!

What's happening?

I read in forums that ms can't track links in images or flash swfs. I saw spam in my accounts and saw redirection swfs hosted in imageshack.us, but tried and did'nt work, perhaps this domain is msp redirected too.

The questions are:

1) how can I put a link into an image? there is people that says it's the solution.
2) I have a rediretion swf, and perhaps a link jpg if anyone solves, but ... where I host it? If msp redirects the link to the image or swf, I'm at the same point.
3) how do you bypass msp redirection? Is there another way?

Thanks to all. If I get the answer to my questions here or in another forum, I'll share.

Don't make it a clickable link, just use an image that has the URL on it and direct the viewers to copy and paste, or type, it into their address bar.

i think what's more damaging than msplinks, ultimately, is the "mark as spam" button next to friend request that they just put in.

I'm really surprised at the fact the myspace has been able to block spamming as well as it has, and is still improving it's efforts. It's the first time I've ever seen a social venue ever take such a drastic approach to it, and succeed for the most part.

I just saw this thread after having posted my own about this issue. Redirected links would be fine if they preserved the ultimate landing spot but they don't in my case. I'm not interested in the backlink I'm interested in the click-thru and (hopefully) subsequent music download on iTunes. This redirect now lands as a 404 which is clearly not good.

yea or you can create a myspace page with a top image that says something on the line what you are promoting and for them to click here to continue ( a huge top image) and just promote the myspace url. myspace will not block there own links
