Hi there..



Next week I will start the sale of a nice dating software clone of the well known free dating site: Plentyoffish.com.



The name of the software is pofclone.com (PlentyOfFishclone) and I am wondering how I can make this sale of the perfect software a success? To boost up the initial sales I offer members of this forum the opportunity to pre-order it for just $49. After this pre-order time I sell the script at a price of $199. I think the pre-order thing is important to kickstart, right?



What else techniques do you recommend me to do?

I think I have a good idea, please give me some feedback... what about creating a buzz on forums? I am thinking to do this by let some people test the software for free and let them spread the word

I agree that forums are a good place to start. There are a lot of people searching for a POF clone (although the most people searching for it was after the story broke about how much money they take in). I think most of them are being referred to a script called PHPizabi.

Another place to look is the freelance sites, getafreelancer, rentacoder, elance, etc.

List it on hotscripts.com for sure.

Try some ppc maybe, do a side-by-side comparison of your features against features of other scripts.

Keywords like "dating site script", "php dating script", "dating site clone", "matchmaker script", etc.
