I have been looking for off-site marketer, but they all want big :censored: money. They all think I am :euro: from Monopoly. When I offered a base amount, and compensation according to their marketing efforts' success they :2guns:me down, and and told me to go :scooter:.

I could use some :helpsmilie: from some of you who worked with such consultants.

Otherwise, I am going to have to put this site to :sleep1: at the end of the year, despite all the :hammer: I put into it.

So, be an :angel: and share your experience!

I do some off line marketing but my product can be offline or online. What exactly are you looking for help with?

Kidding aside! What is exactly your site's niche? Have you tried any of these methods of promoting your site?

Free methods:
Submission to SE's and directories
Email campaign
Forums, blogs and board postings to targetted audience
Social Bookmarking
Etc. etc.

Premium ways: (Should require a budget)
Pay-Per-Click (PPC)
Targetted Link backs
SEO
Ad spaces
Offline campaigns
Etc. etc.

Just always keep in mind that patience is a virtue in our industry. Hope my suggestions help out.

I need help with marketing to increase traffic.

The niche is "weight loss, health, fitness", although it is a "support community".

Submission to SE's and directories - done to several hundreds and I am well positioned in the big three with some key phrases.
Email campaign - This one would require to have an e-mail list. I am leery of sending out UCE.
Forums, blogs and board postings to targetted audience - I have been looking for help on this, but yet to find someone to do it for money!
Social Bookmarking Although works to a certain extent, I don't think it is the best for my target market.
