Today all troubles of those who want to get a big stream of users on their sites are because people really use only three search engines. Sites that are engaged in SALE have very strong, overwhelming pressure on all these three engines. And this is obvious.
And what if a person searches for the information, not going to buy? Anyway first positions are taken by those who sell, even if this user is a buyer. Often he is not satisfied with the results of the search, because on tops are large firms. But the consumer first of all is interested in the lowest prices for the goods! In short, writing about disadvantages is a waste of time. Therefore i have a proposal - to create a Search Engine that will be based on the user’s answers. Then owners of commercial sites which now struggle with a question - how to get on the first positions of these three engines, will simply be participating in this people’s engine project! If they are the professionals in their field then people will receive what they are looking for and these owners of sites - their buyers.
It is important to not be greedy, and to go towards to people to make them happy!
What emotions are caused with this idea, of course except words – “it’s a Utopia” and “was it already somewhere?”..?!

It's an interesting idea! But the number of participants should be bigger then the number of those who ask the questions! It's weak point, isn't it?

Probably it’s a sane idea. I only hope that every project participant knows more than just one topic.
For example I consider myself a car specialist and namely Subaru and a specialist in corporative network security. So I can give an answer on two questions in different topics, of course not simultaneously.

The main idea is to create something like a search engine where people will get answers on their questions from other people that are professionals in those questions. Today people hardly receive requested answers – most often these are a lot of useless pages.

Google Answers has failed because it was a chargeable search of that that was already found by Google.
But I have another idea. For example if your computer started to hang and you know a programmer with which you were sitting in a bar yesterday. Whom will you call?
If something creaks in your car’s saloon and your neighbor boasted that he is a professional in this field. What will you do?
If you adore cultivating flowers and your friend just called you – leaves on her indoor flower have withered. If you want to buy a camera and your colleague yesterday brought his new camera. Whom will you ask an advice?
Best adviser is that person who has tried this thing. Everybody knows something and even writes about this in his/her blog. But how can I find that blog with needed information?
On the first place in ANY Search Engine will be a website that sells something. And that’s all! If the best happened – there will be comments of a collaborator from that shop on the same page.

I agree to what you have said. Then again there are new search engines coming up with lots of additional features like Tybit.
It is a free client-side search application that can be downloaded and installed from their site.

It is able to deliver local results no matter where the end user is.Tybit provides services for searching web pages, images, news websites, videos, music...
tyBit is customizable also, so that we can view results based on multiple preferences. We can also sort the results by address, source, name or description, and save them for use later.
It also allows us to post advertisements and avoids PPC frauds.
