Jason a marketing friend of mine came over last night. We sat down
over a cup of coffee and he was telling me that he has a side business on ebay and was pulling in some ok dough.
I thought that he meant maybe a few hundred dollars a week. But when he blurted out he was making $7k per month and only working about
3 hours a week, i nearly spat my coffee back at him.
$7k a month! thats like $84, 000 per year without hardly lifting a finger. He went on and told me some of his secrets. Now I knew jason was a smart dude, but what he telling me was genius, he had a strategy that gave him lots of traffic and lots of sales and was making some good money in the meantime.
Below I have given you the best strategies that he uses to bring in his $7k per month
Are you using ebay to bring in extra traffic to your site???
- use leverage from big traffic sites like ebay
- lots of visitors already
- sells a wide variety of stuff
- your product will fit into one of the categories there
- once someone buys keep there email handy and tell them of future auction
or auctions the minute you post them. Build list.
- make friends on ebay and get them to tell their customers about you auction
- test ads to get more bids, use bizarre combinations of ascii art to help
- a day after someone buys tell them of a similar auction (cross sell)
- treat your regular buying customers like gold offer discounts, coupons 2 for 1 deals
so they keep returning.
- to get more bids use popular words for you category.
- Use the about me page to get send clients to your website or email
