Hi, I run a Myspace resource site that is still getting a lot of traffic even though much of the Myspace hype has died down. I'm currently using Adsense as my only means of generating revenue. What other programs are there that you would recommend? I've heard of affiliate marketing but I'm not sure how to start that, or what other ad program in addition to Adsense is a good one to try out?
Thanks for the reply. Can you give me some names of these other advertising programs?
My site is hxttp://myspace-crash-codes.com
without the x, I couldn't post the link otherwise.
I think what would best work for you is to target social communities as well since you are in their niche. Forum participation in similar niche, article marketing, blogging, social bookmarking, etc. will help you get the right traffic.
If you have a budget, PPC and other paid ways will yield faster results though. Let me know if you need some more help. You may also PM me should you need more advice! Best of luck buddy!
Adbrite is easy to get approved with. Neverblueads.com, Hydra Media, Maxbounty, all affiliate sites that are fairly easy to get and if you get any decent traffic, could bring in a few bucks.
WidgetBucks.com is similar to Adsense and is supposed to be good but as it's relatively new I'm waiting to see how others do first.
The site is widgetbucks.com
I am rocking widgetbucks.com right now on hitechblogger.com if you want to see it in action. Still in the testing stages with it though. I will report back at months end.

I am happy with widgetbucks so far.
I made small amount off it in October.
