Hi LuLu,
You might want to give us your url so someone can offer suggestions. Without knowing what it is it's hard to offer anything but I'll assume you have proper onsite seo. Search engines will need this to help find and index your site.
Since it's a very tight niche that you're catering to, you might want to join various gay/lesbian forums or groups and use a signature that has a link to your site. Remember to use a good keyword as the link in your sig.
Social network sites, as all sites, take time to build a following. Become active in other related sites, be patient yet diligent and if your site is well thought out, the word of mouth will bring new users.

Hi,

You may submit your site to some free directories website.

After they approve your submission, your website link is put on their webpage.

You can do it one or two times at different directories website at each day.

looks like your doing nothing wrong at all Lulu!
You have to realise it takes time and efford for a site to become big. If you do well, your site can be in the top 10 searchresults in Google within 4 months. This is when your site will really start to grow..

Its easyer then you think to rank high in Google. For now start submitting your site to directories, write articles about your sites topic, include a backlink and submit it to article directories, write press releases and submit them, buy blogposts, create an RSS feed and submit it, post your link in forums and related blogs.. Keep building links, and keep updating your sites content.. And be patient.. Rome wasnt build in a day..
It usually takes about a year before an average website hits success..
Pm me if you have any more questions!

Take your time, submit your site to as many places as possible and make sure that your content is relevant enough that it becomes indexed as quickly as possible.

you will learn lots about the adult industry.

I spend lots of time investigating how they advertise,,, and although I get sidetracked sometimes you will learn alot.

they are so powerful the way they go viral, and the whole video thing.

i would start with that or adwords, or a press release to get things going...then just try to get more from word of mouth.

Get a lot of targeted backlinks, Banner ads / PPC, SEO for keywords in your niche, etc. Be sure to target the right market when promoting your site, that's the key to a better conversion
