I know it's frowned upon to "spam" but if you post info to your website in groups on facebook you'd be suprised how many visitors you'll get. I get hundreds a day from doing this - some of facebooks groups are so massive that even if only 1 percent of them follow your link you still get over 100 people.

I am not telling you it's ok to go spam people, but I am confessing that I've done this before and it worked well.

I've found that MySpace Forums works to.
Just put something in your signature.

Even though MySpace switches out the links, and it won't help with PageRank, I'll still get traffic this way. The music forum is quite active.

Hey, mind mentioning some of those hot groups?

Yes, MySpace layout is good. It gives you massive traffic if you used carefully and smartly.

I'm gonna look into Facebook. MySpace is the only site I ever use as a social networking site and everytime I try another site like "Yuwie" or something, it's just weird. It's not like "home".

I'll be glad to leave home for more traffic though :]
