Making the frontpage of Digg or onto Slashdot is OBVIOUSLY a good thing. Here's a somewhat tongue-in-cheek article about which inflammatory topics tend to get Dugg:
(edit: I don't have enough posts yet to post a URL)
Ideally, the best way is to be a long-time Digg or Slashdot member with a good reputation. And maybe lots of online friends that I could email to Digg my article. Which many of us don't have... so until that time, what's the next best thing?
Lets say I have a blog called "JoeSeafoam.com" and I want to submit a blog article I wrote.... is it better for my Digg/Slash username to obviously be me? (JoeSeafoam) Or a name that does NOT identify me as the author of the blog article?
