I know it's kinda out of place here. But I just bought webhosting and a couple domains and REALIZED later that there is a "Online Gambling Ban" bill thats being passed in the US congress. I guess thats what I get for not doing better marketing research. I was planning on doing some advertising and promotion, basically the sites I have will be portal/landing pages for a particular gambling site.
Is there any sense in going further with this if there is a ban of online gambling ? I won't get any revenue from free signups, its only when players deposit money.

That does not mean your Gambling Related site will not work. You just have to make sure that the site is not viewable from the U.S.

If you exclude the U.S from your audience, the rest of the world is still a sizeable drawcard.

Have you looked into if Online Gambling is allowed in the UK, Australia and every other English speaking country?

But if all your advertisers only pay for U.S traffic, then there is not much point going further.

lol. that is funny they have casino links on them. Recently, msn, yahoo, and google settled with the DOJ to forbid all gambling related ads in the U.S. They agreed to pay fines, remove the ads, and replace them with public service ads addressing the dangers of gambling addiction...
