I am just wondering what your opinions about email marketing are? could you share your own experience?

I think email marketing is useful so long as you provide value to your subscribers above what you have on your website. For example, give incentives -- email subscribers can get good content, perhaps discount codes, contest opportunities, and more.

I have no idea if this will help you, but I wrote a piece on blogs vs. email marketing awhile back.

It totally depends on how good your email list is. If your list is good and valid emails you can get some traffic and leads to your site

I love the idea of email marketing to give subscribers a 'first peek' at the newest sales. However not giving your email list something worth staying for is a bad practice and will never help you.
