I'll help echo the Bueller.

(I don't even know what ArticleMarketer is.)

Well, I don't really know.. I saw it mentioned on another thread here. Looks like you write an article on something you know or are passionate about and they provide the service of distributing that article to e-zines/blogs for you.

I use Article Marketer and have the lifetime membership.

It's basically a service that will distribute articles you write
to hundreds of article directories and announcement groups
all across the Internet.

The only thing I don't like about them is that you can only
have one author pen name. Also many of the directories they
submit to are smaller ones with little traffic, but they do also
hit up big ones like EzineArticles.com

It's good if you want to get backlinks really fast and a lot
of them spread across different websites. The amount of
traffic you get depends on how good your article is.

I recommend using them instead of manually submitting
your articles but only if you write under one name.

Daniel, thanks. Don't you worry a bit about duplicate content penalties with that?

Hi,

You really only need to worry about duplicate content if you also host the article on your website as well.

Yes, Google will see you article on many sites and they will get penalised but you won't if you don;t have the article on your site or if you do, change it around to be significantly different to those you are distributing.

It's really the traffic that you get thats more important than the back links as the back links are usually of poorish quality.

I hope that helps.

Mike

PS - I find that by tracking where my articles go I can find some great site that use my articles and I then approach them directly to offer them more unique quality traffic. I use Google Alerts to do this.

Here's how

By the way. Just to answer the original question on ArticleMarketer.

I also have a lifetime account with them and as the Daniel said it's really annoying that you can only have one author name.

Also, I have noticed over recent months that their turnaround for reviewing and approving articles is getting very slow. They promise 24 hours if you are a lifetime member but I've waited upto a week before now.

I personally prefer ezinearticles.com

The others I use are:
articledashboard.com
ideamarketers.com
goarticles.com

Cheers

Mike
