Hi, I am interested in starting a website and I need help getting an estimation of how much I will be able to charge selling ad space on a CPM basis. If anyone here could help me out it would be really appreciated.

My website will be video game related, which I think makes for a pretty specific audience demographic, yeah?
I plan to have banner ads as well as video ads, 15-30 seconds in length.
Preferably I need prices based on both raw and unique impressions, for comparison.

Is there any other info that would be helpful? Thanks.

I don't have a website yet, I'm just planning it out and trying to determine it's viability. I don't need anything terribly specific, but maybe just a range or average CPM rate for this kind of website? That would be very helpful.

thats hard to do, but just guessing start out from scratch, your CPM will be next to nothing.. maybe 5 cents if your lucky. CPM is based on high amounts of traffic, so I don't know how you plan to make money with (cost per 1000 views)

you might want to consider CPC (cost per click) until your traffic gets established. Once you get at least 1000 pageviews per day, then switch to CPM.
