I have a blog thats only one and half month old. i"ve been working daily and working overtime trying to understand how to get traffic to my blog and get my website indexed in google search engine. Today i checked my stats and i had 687 viewers visit my website. From past week i'lve been getting lots of people visitng my website. I am really excited that all the comments that i've been leaving and posting is finally paying off. Now my question is how do keep my readers coming back... i would like to discuss the steps to keep the interested..

keep on posting relevant information that will make them want to come back...

think about a blog you go look at....ask yourself why you go there often...do the same thing with yours....

That's quite a bit of views, congrats! With tricks like your aboutus thread, no wonder you're getting that much traffic.

Why don't you add google adsense to your blog?

It's a good start. Follow the advice of juliensimon. Keep writing. Try to do at least a post per day.

For a developer blog, I would bother with adsense until you are getting at least 2K unique visitors per day. Most developers don't click on ads and you'll be wasting time watching the pennies count.

You can use the google webmaster tools (https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools) to try to get an idea of the number of RSS subscribers (google reader and feedburner). It's only a small percentage but, when that number gets bigger, you'll know you have a real following.

When you have a lot of people following your blog, you will discover that your audience will promote your site for you.
